My assistants tell me that WordPress is finally acting normal again. Pff, so glad I don’t have to worry about the technical stuff. Computers are so boring, except for when they play animal movies, then I pay attention. Anyway, I wanted to tell you about a new trick I taught myself. I call it “stuffing balls”. The trick is to stuff as many tennis balls in your mouth as possible. So far, I am up to two. Don’t believe me? Just look at the second photo. My goal is three. Unfortunately, I only have two tennis balls so I am devising a method to acquire more. Maybe I can sneak one or two into my quarters from the park.

Do you happen to know what kind of dog Benji is? I have one that was rescued that looks almost identical!

DNA testing showed that Benji is possibly a Weimaraner, Shar Pei, Golden Retriever, and Terrier mix … Would love to see a photo of your dog. How did you adopt your dog?

We adopted him from a local humane society in Missouri. We were told he was a boxer/shar pei. His bridle is a little more red than Benji’s, but he is the same size and has the same facial structure.

We did the Wisdom Panel DNA test (http://www.wisdompanel.com/). It was around $70 and fun to do. Benji is also from a local shelter. It is difficult to guess the breed by their looks and most shelters are not accurately describing the dogs in their care. Benji was thought to be a German Shepherd/ Labrador Retriever mix. To me it doesn’t matter what breed he is, as long as he is a happy dog 🙂
