Dogtor B, an ex-shelter dog, became a therapy dog in October 2016. In 2020 he moved from Florida to New Zealand. He loves to talk about his endeavors, his brother Sky, and life in general as an American expat in New Zealand.
When I was younger, I enjoyed resting on the grass under an apple tree, watching pollinators on the marigolds and lavender. The neighbor’s grey tabby, Woody, would join me, and we’d enjoy the shade and activity of the insects. Of course, Woody’s interest was more intense than mine, if you know what I mean! LOL! He’d catch what he could.
Have you ever tried rolling in vinca (an ivy), Benji? That was Lexi’s favorite. I used to have to “fluff the vinca” after she had a good roll in it during lunch break at work.
Both Benji and Ms. Zulu love to do that. It was a bit too hot for Ms. Zulu that day but early in the morning especially when the grass has just been mowed is a perfect time for her.
that is 100% summertime and the living is easy ;O)))

Haha, what a lovely story. Benji is very interested in the crawly things too, especially the ones that jump out of nowhere.

Nope, never did that. I don’t like stuff to get tangled up in my brindle coat, WOL. Benji.

Summer is all about chill-axin in the grass. You are showing how it’s really done.
