You haven’t heard from us for a while. Rest assured, we’re still here; well at least physically. For months we were busy with pawsonal affairs and such. Finally the humans had to slow down as we are officially locked-in in the new sea land. Today is day 10 of alert level 4. This means that we are only allowed outside to exercise and have to drag a human around. No more free roaming humans. Such a chore.
The humans were supposed to be in Auckland and us doggos in our own resort. Instead we are traveling virtually. We already watched a YouTube video of the train ride from Wellington to Auckland. Today we are “visiting” Waiheke island. Tomorrow we might pick our next boat. Please let it be a cat-maran and not one of those monohulls. It’s easier to chase cats in my sleep than to sleep on one of those wobbly monohulls.
Luckily, we don’t get virtual yummies for our tummies. We can comfortably alternate sleeping, eating, and exercising. The focus might be a tad bit more on the sleeping and eating part though. I guess we are practicing to travel to another galaxy just like the passengers of the Anxiom (Wall-E).
Anyhowls, never a boring day in The New Sea Land,
Stay safe,
Benji

We wondered where you were, Benji. Nea Sea Land. Wow. We didn’t know you were going to STAY there. (I, Xena, have gotten pretty good at STAY, but not for THAT long!) We hope you get the boat you want, they look like fun. XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia

Thanks Lucy and Chia. At times, we still don’t know what’s up or down on the other side of the big sea but we are getting there.

Benji and Sky!
So nice to hear of you. I have missed you and have been thinking are you still in New Sea Land. The situation all over the world is almost the same as there. The virus had attacked our little village now badly, schools are closing their doors. We are still allowed to walk freely, but we have stayed in our yard mostly. Wishing to hear of you more often.

Oh Kosmo, that is so sad that you are in the same boat. Maybe we just have to all sail together to a faraway island where there is no such thing. Stay safe. Missed you too! Your friend Benji (Sky and Mom says hi too).

The idea of sailing to a tiny island is great. Just after I wrote to you, our government decided to open almost everything, even though the virus is spreading all the time. So we will see what happens now. About half of the population is vaccinated, but does it help.
So one day at the time.
